So you got a new vehicle! You've shook hands, signed the papers, emptied your trade, transferred the car seats, traded keys... You got your picture taken with your sales person, and they showed you have to work a few features on the vehicle. Now you've got your family strapped in, you sit in the drivers seat, and totally BLANK out about what the sales person said during delivery. Sound familiar? It happens, more often than not! Of course you are always welcome to contact your sales person for help on setting your new ride up, but we thought these videos might help answer some of your questions!

How to pair your phone with Uconnect system:

On the Uconnect screen:

A) Touch the "phone" on the bottom right of the touchscreen

B) Touch "YES" when asked "would you like to pair a phone?"

On your mobile device:

A) Go to your phones Bluetooth located under "Settings" (iPhone) or "Options" (Android)

B) Wait for the "Uconnect" to appear under "other devices"

*Note* if it is taking a while, try turning your Bluetooth function off and on again

C) Select "Uconnect" connection

D) When prompted with the 4 digit pin- make sure the pin on the touchscreen matches the pin on your phone

E) Depending on your device either enter the 4 digit pin or press pair

On the Uconnect screen:

C) Touch "OK"

D) To set this phone as the favorite phone touch "YES"

*As mentioned in the video above, for iPhones you can make calls or texts by pressing the voice recognition icon on the steering wheel which is recognized through 'siri'. You may also press the green phone button, again found on the steering wheel*
