The 2020 Jeep Compass received a few minor upgrades from the prior year in terms of features available on each model level. The 2020 Jeep Compass is available in seven different model varieties, each building upon the features of the previous model. This is followed by the Limited ($36,195) and the High Altitude ($38,390), which both increase the interior styling with premium seats and upgraded touchscreen display.
Off-road Capabilities
For the lower models, you can choose between front wheel drive (FWD) and 4x4, as well as manual or automatic transmission, to ensure that you have the handling that you need. The 4x4 models provide a variety of terrain-conquering modes, such as Snow, Sand, and Mud, for improved traction in all conditions. For city and highway driving, the Compass offers adapt handling. Jeep has increased its safety features for the 2020 Compass. There are now 65 safety and security features that are standard or available on all Compass models. A few of the safety features are adaptive cruise control with stop and go, driver assist systems, and blind-spot monitoring. In addition, Jeep has implemented Engine Stop-Start (ESS) technology to improve efficiency and fuel consumption. This dual-battery system turns the engine off when the vehicle brakes to a stop and automatically restarts when your foot comes off the brake. ESS comes standard with the automatic transmission.
